Dill Essential Oil
Our first production of this oil was grown on field scale by one of our growers in September 2001. Since then we have improved techniques and have had several successful harvests of this popular herb. Distilled again this season from the seed heads and flowering tops of the dill plant.

Elemi Essential Oil
Steam distilled by Norfolk Essential Oils
This colourless clear essential oil is steam distilled from the imported gum which originates from the Phillipine islands of the Pacific. The plant is a tropical tree known as Canarium luzonicum and grows up to 30 metres tall (almost 100 feet. The local harvesters collect this as a gum that exudes from the tree. It has a strong odour in its raw state, it is a very sticky process unpacking the gum from its delivery container, in fact it is quite a challenge to get this material into the still and keep dry hands. 'A bit like trying to eat a donut without licking your lips' Used in aromatherapy products and cosmetic and perfume products. Usually distilled in France, this is possibly the only UK distilled material
English Distilled Frankincense/olibanum (boswellia carteri)
Distilled from the olibanum gum resin which we have imported from Somalia. A fine example of this pure natural product which we are proud to be able to offer as English Distilled and add to our expanding range of high quality oils.
This is available in 2ml sample vials for those wishing to try before purchasing those larger sizes.

English Distilled Frankincense/olibanum (boswellia serata)
As a new product for those wishing to try small samples we are able to offer this in 2ml vials as well as our standard 5ml and 10ml sizes
Distilled from the olibanum gum resin which we import from the Traditional African areas of production. A fine example of this pure natural product which we are proud to be able to offer as English Distilled and add to our expanding range of high quality oils.

Fennel Essential Oil

The oil is steam distilled from the crushed harvested seeds. The oil is of a straw to Yellow colouration.We have our own UK grown and distilled material and also now French distilled oil available
Galbanum Essential Oil
Distilled by Norfolk Essential Oils in the UK
Steam water bath distilled from resin of the ferula gabaniflua plant imported from Iran. This oil has been added to our 'UK distilled' range. Often ued as a 'green'note in perfumery it is also used in cosmetics, flavours and aromatherapy.
The oil is virtually colourless and is a clear mobile liquid.

Latin name:- Citrus paradisi
Country of origin:- Israel
Extracted by the cold pressing of the fresh peel and fruit remnants after juice expression. A yellowish /green liquid with a strong citrus aroma. The main constituent is limonene
Helichrysum Essential Oil
helichrysum angustifolium
Origin:- Croatia
Grown and distilled in Croatia and collected wild from the mountains and surrounding area a very nice quality oil. Due to harvest difficulties over the last two years this oil has become more expensive but we are still able o supply this excellent type
Hemp Essential Oil
This is probably the only UK produced hemp essential oil currently available.
Produced by the steam distillation of the flowering tops of the cannibis sativa plant. The plant grows to a height of over 10feet (3metres) tall in our fertile soils and there is no need for any pesticide application as it grows very fast away from any weeds and smothers them.
Grown under licence this plant is specially selected due to having virtually no THC (tetrahydrocanibol) present. Tested by a UK Home Office registered laboratory this oil contains no THC.
Hyssop Essential Oil (Hyssopus officianalis)
Grown at two sites now in our co-operative this oil has its own special qualities and is added to our range of English grown and distilled oils. The plants themselves grow to around 60cm high and produce purplish-blue flowers from which the oil is steam distilled.
This has been well received since we started growing in 2000 and now its popularity and quality has furnished increased plantings and production.
Juniper Essential Oil
latin Name:- Juniperus communis
Another new oil for 2005 to our English distilled range. The juniper berries are imported from Bulgaria to the Uk where we prepare the berries by lightly crushing before introducing them to the distillery for steam distillation.
The oil produced is a clear pale yellow colour with the sweet and fresh charcateristic aroma of juniper.
