1. Rose Floral Water (Pure)
Rosa Damascena Water.
Now one of our most popular floral waters/hydrosols. This Rose water is produced by the steam distillation of fresh hand picked rose petals. Available in 100ml ,250ml and 1 litre sizes and now also in new 100ml blue glass spray atomiser.
It is reported to be very useful when used as a skin tonic and has been used as a facial cleanser and toner.The aroma of this superb sample is absolutely wonderful and is very reminiscent of a the roses it is produced from. Distilled from rosa damascena the water has a pH of 7.34 and has an essential oil content of 0.018%

Abbey Fields Lavender Soap
This luxurious hand made soap is made from Lavender oil grown on the only commercial lavender farm in Cambridgeshire. The flowers are currently hand picked and brought to our distillery for distillation. Abbey Fields lavender is grown near to the historic Thorney Abbey which is situated near to Peterborough Cambridgeshire. Once again wrapped in a light tissue paper and attractively labelled with a paper wrap.
A very attractive and aromatic soap with a very delicate aroma attributed to the care and attention the plants receive. Since its launch, only a few weeks ago this soap bar is now our most popular hand made product, with many customers coming back for repeat orders. An excellent gift for that special person.

A beautiful oil coloured light yellow with a very powerful aroma, Angelica root essential oil is distilled from the roots which are hand dug and cleaned, the roots are then distilled to produce this high quality oil. 2004 new season oil is now available for all lovers of this special oil.
Angelica Seed Oil (Angelica archangelica)
Distilled from only the seed heads of the Angelica plant. Unlike alot of Angelica seed that is offered which is distilled from all the upper parts of the plant which includes stalks and leaves and produces a lower grade oil, this seed oil is produced by removing the seeds only and distilling only seeds which produces this unique oil.This very fragrant oils is a must for all those Angelica lovers.
Apricot Kernel Carrier Oil
Another new addition to our range this carrier/base oil can be used in conjunction with our essential oils or alone for a massage. It can also be mixed with our sweet almond carrier oil to create a blended massage
Asafetida Essential Oil
Latin name:- ferula asa-foetida
Steam distilled in our own distillery here in the UK from the gum imported from Iran.
The gum itself comes from a large perennial herb.
The oil has a very strong odour resembling that of garlic. The oil is a straw yellow in colouration. Used widely in the food and flavouring trade as well as a component in perfumery

Caraway Essential Oil
Latin Name:- carum carvi
This essential oil is produced by crushing and steam distilling the seeds which are harvested and dried from the caraway herb. The herb is a bi-ennial plant which grows up to 1 metre in height. The flowers are white and are produced on multi branched stems. The seeds are harvested with a combine harvester during the month of July.
The main constituent of this oil is carvone testing of our oil has shown levels of 60%. This oil is documented as being a useful aid to digestion.

Chamomile and Lavender Dead Sea Bath Salts
Made using pure genuine Dead Sea salts we now have the choice of fine or coarse salts. These luxury Hand-made bath salts contain essential oils of English Chamomile and Lavender. When poured under the runing tap the bathroom is filled with the aroma of the fresh fields of Chamomile and Lavender and makes for a relaxing bath. Available in 250ml transit light weight blue plastic.

Clary Sage Essential Oil

Freshly distilled from the flowering tops this is a really fine example of Clary Sage oil. The oil is produced in the second season of growth of this bi-ennial plant and is harvested when the small seeds in the base of the flowers are swollen and just turning from green to light brown which is when the oil yield is at its best. Available in 5 and 10ml drippers,30ml flasks and larger volumes by request

A floral water/hydrosol produced during the steam distillation of the clary sage flowers. Distilled during July this water has been in our range now for over 8, it and has a very pleasing aroma. Purchase in the 100ml and 250ml blue bottles or the 1000ml transit container.
Clove Bud Essential Oil

Grown and distilled in Madagasca from the buds of the plant this very distinctive oil is used widely in flavouring of food and drinks and as a fragrance ingredient for cosmetics, perfumery and soapsetc as well as its aromatherapy uses.
Coriander essential oil

Steam distilled from the crushed seeds the oil is characteristic in odour and is a pale yellow colouration.Used in flavours and fragrances as well as aromatherapy, it also blends well with other essential oils
Cypress Hydrosol/Floral Water

New in Spring 2010 and imported from a French distiller this cypress hydrosol is organically produced. Distilled from the needles and twigs of the tree when extracting the essential oil
Dill Essential Oil
Our first production of this oil was grown on field scale by one of our growers in September 2001. Since then we have improved techniques and have had several successful harvests of this popular herb. Distilled again this season from the seed heads and flowering tops of the dill plant.

Elemi Essential Oil
Steam distilled by Norfolk Essential Oils
This colourless clear essential oil is steam distilled from the imported gum which originates from the Phillipine islands of the Pacific. The plant is a tropical tree known as Canarium luzonicum and grows up to 30 metres tall (almost 100 feet. The local harvesters collect this as a gum that exudes from the tree. It has a strong odour in its raw state, it is a very sticky process unpacking the gum from its delivery container, in fact it is quite a challenge to get this material into the still and keep dry hands. 'A bit like trying to eat a donut without licking your lips' Used in aromatherapy products and cosmetic and perfume products. Usually distilled in France, this is possibly the only UK distilled material
English Blue Yarrow Oil ( Achillea millefolium)
We are now able to offer this traditional Yarrow oil which is of a very dark blue colouration due to its high chamazulene levels. We first grew this in 2001 after sourcing a different variety of Yarrow and this type has all the aroma of the yarrow herb with the bonus of the very high levels of chamazulene. English Chamomile Essential OIL (Anthemis nobilis)
A perenial of creeping habit - the herb growing to a height of 30cm with flower spikes during the flowering season (July, August) to 45cm.
Origins
The herb itself has a history of use stretching back to the Ancient Egyptian and Moorish Civilisations and it has certainly been grown in England for over a thousand years, being one of the Saxons' nine sacred herbs - known as "Maythen". It is not surprising, therefore, that it should be known as "English Chamomile" being ideally suited to our climate and soils.
Harvesting
The flower heads are harvested when they are in full bloom in July and August and the Essential Oil is extracted by Steam distillation. The Oil is a sky blue colour when first distilled with a clean, almost medicinal but floral aroma. The sky blue is caused by the presence of traces of chamazulene, a powerful antiinflamatory agent.
Uses
The Oil is widely used in Aromatherapy for its soothing properties and its ability to blend happily with other oils, and more generally in cosmetic and skincare preparations.

Produced during the distillation of the fresh herb it is selected during the critical period of distillation to ensure a hydrolat of superior quality is produced. This product has been highly praised by its many users. Contains no additives or preservatives.
English Chamomile in Base/carrier oil
Our famous English/Roman chamomile oil( anthemis nobilis) mixed with 50% sweet almond oil allows us to ship this oil as a non flammble option.
This can be delivered in normal post and the flammable charges that appear on the straight oil do not apply.
You have the option of choosing sweet almond or apricot kernel oil as the base.Other dilutions/ mixes are possible and will be added as options later

English Distilled Frankincense/olibanum (boswellia serata)
As a new product for those wishing to try small samples we are able to offer this in 2ml vials as well as our standard 5ml and 10ml sizes

English Eucalyptus floral water
Produced during the distillation of eucalyptus foliage produced by growers in the Cornish peninsular of Southern England. This is the only UK produced eucalyptus floral and was distilled by us on behalf of the growers. The Cornish farmers cut the floiage by hand and ship it to us overnight in special ventilated transport to maintain the quality.
A very aromatic water with all the benefits of eucalyptus.
English Lavender Oil
Lavandula angustifolia
Grown on two farms within the co-operative we are able to offer a limited amount of lavender oil this season as our plantations expand. Our own source of true English lavender plants give us this pure sample of probably the most popular of all the essential oils. We always choose our lavender distillation days to give us the best sample and yield possible. Our distillery location has enabled us to be able to offer two exclusive lavenders. One grown in Central Norfolk near to Fakenham and the other in Cambridgeshire at a farm near the Old Abbey at Thorney (Abbey Fields). Customers can select these exclusive lines if they require a unique and rare oil.
English Peppermint Essential Oil
Mentha piperita
The peppermint acreage has steadily increased since we first grew some Mitcham Mint in trials during 1999. We have since propagated from this original stock and produce a very high quality mint oil from this crop. It has proved to be very popular since we first introduced it and yet again this season the crop growing area is increasing. The GC profile is showing good percentages of menthol and menthone giving this oil its powerful aroma.
English Rosemary Oil
(Rosamarinus officianalis) Distilled during the end of September once again we have this fine sample of pure English Rosemary essential oil. The plantation is now five years old and is well established and producing a good quality oil.The Gas chromatograph of this oil exhibits a profile similar to Spanish Rosemary.
English Thyme Essential Oil
(Thymus vulgaris)
Also known as red or sweet thyme
English Grown and distilled. Introduced in 2003 and now part of the commercial operation. Two harvests are carried out during the season, one in July when the crop is in full flower and the other in September before the winter arrives. The oils from both harvests are then blended together to give this oil the qualities of the full growing season. A very nice sample of English thyme the crop is thriving well in our climate. Bulk volumes also available. Contains 37%thymol as determined by GC analysis.

Galbanum Essential Oil
Distilled by Norfolk Essential Oils in the UK
Steam water bath distilled from resin of the ferula gabaniflua plant imported from Iran. This oil has been added to our 'UK distilled' range. Often ued as a 'green'note in perfumery it is also used in cosmetics, flavours and aromatherapy.
The oil is virtually colourless and is a clear mobile liquid.

German Chamomile Floral Water
A favourite amoungst our many customers this floral water has a very pleasant and attractive aroma. Due to its continued popularity with many of our customers this water now sits firmly as one of the favourites. Harvested flowers are distilled and the water collected during this period, one of the first crops to be distilled during the year usually around mid to end of June.
German/Blue Chamomile Essential OIL
The green herb of Matricaria has an odour similar to, but somewhat sweeter and 'apple-like' than the more astringent Anthemis. The extracted essential oil however, is very different. The flowers are harvested in June and September and steam distilled for for many hours. Matricaria oil is inky blue and somewhat viscous with a rather green almost pungent 'grassy' aroma.
The dark blue is caused by the presence of a high concentation of chamazulene in this oil and it is for the antiianflamatory properties of this substance that the Matricaria chamomile is most prized. In many other respects the oil tends to be used for the same purposes as Anthemis nobilis although its high price tends to encourage its use as an ingredient in skin care preparations rather than a 'stand alone' aromatherapy oil.

Country of origin:- Israel
Extracted by the cold pressing of the fresh peel and fruit remnants after juice expression. A yellowish /green liquid with a strong citrus aroma. The main constituent is limonene

A unique English handmade soap,made from our exquisite English Chamomile oil and chamomile floral water. Added moisturising properties come from sweet almond and jojoba oils, and underlying the chamomile scent is a hint of lavender and sweet orange. Handmade Peppermint Soap
The latest addition to our hand-made soap range. This is a wonderfully fragrant soap for that extra fresh wash. Containing our famous high quality mitcham peppermint oil the soap bar has a marbled appearance and gives a fresh 'zingy' wash. This has been very popular with our local customers for personal use or an ideal gift.
Helichrysum Essential Oil

Grown and distilled in Croatia and collected wild from the mountains and surrounding area a very nice quality oil. Due to harvest difficulties over the last two years this oil has become more expensive but we are still able o supply this excellent type
Hemp Essential Oil
This is probably the only UK produced hemp essential oil currently available.
Produced by the steam distillation of the flowering tops of the cannibis sativa plant. The plant grows to a height of over 10feet (3metres) tall in our fertile soils and there is no need for any pesticide application as it grows very fast away from any weeds and smothers them.
Grown under licence this plant is specially selected due to having virtually no THC (tetrahydrocanibol) present. Tested by a UK Home Office registered laboratory this oil contains no THC.
Hydrating Face Cream/Moisturiser
One of the New Products for our Natural Aromatherapy Range.
Introduced back in 2006 this Aromatherapy Face cream is suitable for dry skin types.
This product is Hand-made using Natural Ingredients, no lanolin,no steroids, no chemicals, no Mineral Oils, No artificial colours or perfumes.
Hypo-allergenic and vegan safe.
This hand cream contains our own grown essential oils of lavender and chamomile,with the addition of palmorosa and carrot essential oils.
The cream has a luxury velvet feel and is a nourishing and hydrating facial moisturiser. This product also contains olive oil, shea butter and cocoa butter
Labelling is now a distinctive green and we have chosen pearl jars which are much lighter for shipping than the glass jars so a benefit for our overseas customers who have higher shipping rates linked to weight.

Hyssop Essential Oil (Hyssopus officianalis)
Grown at two sites now in our co-operative this oil has its own special qualities and is added to our range of English grown and distilled oils. The plants themselves grow to around 60cm high and produce purplish-blue flowers from which the oil is steam distilled.
This has been well received since we started growing in 2000 and now its popularity and quality has furnished increased plantings and production.
Hyssop Floral Water
Produced during the summer months this sample of hyssop floral water (hydrolat) was produced while steam distilling the hyssop herb to extract the essential oil. A pure and natural product packed in 1 litre or 500 litre bulk bottles or smaller sizes in our famous blue bottles.
Jasmine Floral Water
Jasmine floral water is new for summer 2008 and is produced by the hydro-distillation (water bath) of the jasmine flowers. Produced from the flowers of jasminium grandiflorium this is produced by an Indian distiller
It has the wonderful aroma of jasmine and is a very nice addition to our floral water range. The aroma is quite powerful and typically jasmine.
This is our most expensive water but is well worth the value, offerred in 100ml, 250ml and 1 litre for those jasmine lovers
Jojoba
Jojoba oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the beans of the shrub Simmondsia chinensis. Can be used to dilute essential oils for aromatherapy and massage blends. It can also be blended with other vegetable/base oils for massage and aromatherapy use. It is useful for moisturising and softening the skin.
Juniper Essential Oil
latin Name:- Juniperus communis
Another new oil for 2005 to our English distilled range. The juniper berries are imported from Bulgaria to the Uk where we prepare the berries by lightly crushing before introducing them to the distillery for steam distillation.
The oil produced is a clear pale yellow colour with the sweet and fresh charcateristic aroma of juniper.
Juniper Floral Water
Juiperus communis
New for 2005 this floral water/hydrosol is produced during the steam distillation of the imported juniper berries. The floral water is collected after distillation and cooling, no preservatives are added allowing the water to be as pure and natural.
Available in all our standard sizes and wholesale also.
Lavender Floral Water
A popular choice with alot of our customers produced from the fresh lavender flowers grown by our growers and distilled at Pates Farm. Choose the 100ml blue bottle to try or as a seasoned user either the larger 250ml or 1litre bulk pack. Our waters are taking during peak oil flow of the distillation which gives a powerful aroma to the water. No preservatives or additives, sold 'As Distilled'
Lemon Essential Oil ( steam distilled)

Most lemon oil is expressed from the peels but with this oil we have steam distilled in our own distillery from fresh lemons. The oil is a light yellow colouration and has a very strong typical lemon odour.
The oil can be phototoxic so do not use on skin exposed to direct sun light.

Melissa floral water
A wonderful floral water produced from the steam distilation of the whole Melissa/lemon balm herb. The properties of this hydrosol are well known and make it one of our most popular.
Myrrh Essential Oil (English Distilled)
Steam distilled in England in our own purpose built still this sample of comimphora myrrha was imported from the African continent as a gum/resin and was distilled into this beutifully coloured essential oil. In the ancient world this oil was widely used and was classed as highly valued for use in medicines,anointing, incense, embalming and perfumes. This gum is produced in Somalia and is collected by the native workers making incisions to the tropical tree which bleeds to form reddish brown 'tears' of the crude gum. This is then sold for currency and shipped to the UK for distilling. It has similar uses to Myrrh and is an important component in quality perfumes and fragrances. The oils is supplied in both retail and wholesale quantities, it has an orange brown colouration and a plesant aroma.

Orange Essential Oil
An orange oil produced by the steam distillation of fresh orange peels.
the peels are delivered as a left over product from a peeling factory. The peels are steam distilled and this oil is then collected. It is almost colourless with a slight orange tint, being a clear liquid. Aroma is of orange. This oil can be phototoxic so use on the skin should be avoided if there is a danger of exposure to bright sunlight.

Pure Orange Floral Water ( citrus sinensis)
Pure Orange Floral water produced by the steam distillation of fresh orange peel. A new addition to our floral water range this orange water obviously has a pleasant orange aroma which allows for a multitude of uses. As well as use on the skin it is a welcome addition to the steam iron to freshen and fragrancethe ironing. This is probably the only UK produced pure hydrosol of orange available.

The candles come in various shades of red/pink and if burnt will last for just over one hour approximately 65mm in height.

Rosemary Floral Water

Produced from the steam distillation of Fresh Rosemary herb, a fine sample of Rosemary hydrosol/floral water. Very aromatic and reminiscent of the Rosemary herb. Produced during the late summer.
Samphire Hydrosol (Chrithmum maritimum)
Produced by a grower in the Scilly Isles located off the South West coast of England this hydrosol is produced from distilling the sea samphire herb which grows on the sea shore and rocky areas of the coastline.
It has long been collected by hand and used as a food and has become a sought after delicacy in some parts. The fleshy bright green aromatic herb grows wild on the coast line of the Isles of Scilly at St Agnes and is collected and distilled for its oil which is used in local soap making. The hydrosol which is collected during the distillation of the wild crafted herb.
The plant is sometimes referred to as sea fennel.
We are very pleased to offer this unique and pleasant fresh hydrosol which I am sure will be very popular.

Produced in sustainable plantations and govenrnment regulated. This material is distilled using biofuel (coconut oil) which makes this possibly the most environmental friendly produced sandalwood

An English distilled spearmint oil grown near to London and distilled by ourselves this was first produced in 2009. A very typical spearmint oil and a fine English produced oil. Distilled from freshly dried spearmint leaves. Used in aromatherapy and extensively as a flavour component.

Traditionally it was used where there have been nervous problems,also with rheumatism and as a pain reliever. The plant will grow here in the UK and we have at times tried to grow and distil this oil. Due to the requirement for high labour input it is currently imported from China
